If you are struggling with the initial set up of Wordpress then these videos may help.
I posted a WSO which contains a set of 4 videos taking you through the basics of setting up Wordpress.

Aaron Wall, the SEO mastermind at seobook.com, has come out with a brilliant search engine position checking tool.
It is in fact a Firefox extension, so you will need to be using the Firefox browser to use it, but it’s well worth doing so if you are an IE user because this tool is AWESOME.
I’ve dabbled with other SERP checking tools but most either stopped working or hammered Google with requests which can lead to the banning of your site. Due to Aaron’s exceptional SEO knowledge, he does not allow this to happen with his tool Rank Checker. He also ensures it is secure enough that people can not spy on your data.
It is a very easy tool to use and I highly recommend it as a way to track your most important keywords.
You can find details and downloads at Seobook.com
Just the other day I sat down and thought, WOW it is already over a quarter of the way through 2008. Most of my year thus far has been spent on completing client work and building upon my membership site. But what about my niche sites, I thought to myself, when am I going to start concentrating on them again?
If I had started some more sites in January, by now they would have been well indexed and receiving some traffic and possibly some earnings. That’s when it hit me… I need to do it NOW. Not tomorrow or next week, but right now.
I wanted to post about a Wordpress theme site I only discovered a month or so ago but which has become my favourite. I find it easier to navigate than the official WP themes site and it also contains ratings and categories for various types of themes.
If you have used Wordpress you may well be familiar with the fantastic Optimal Title plugin which provided a simple way to optimize your post titles (funnily enough!).
Well, as of Wordpress 2.5 this plugin is no longer required as its functionality has been built into Wordpress.
You can read about it on the developer’s site here.
I use, buy and sell PLR (private label rights) material for a living. If I could calculate how many hours and headaches this has saved me by not having to start from scratch, well I’d be counting all day. Not to mention the money saved compared with hiring personal article writers.
Here’s how I do it:
For the past few months I’ve been using a tool which I now couldn’t live without. It is called Freshdrop and it is a free tool which lets you easily search for expiring, dropped or domains for sale from a variety of sources including Ebay, TDNAM (Godaddy’s domain market), Sedo and other places.
