So Who Really Is The Best Web Host?

Occasionally I get emails or comments asking who I recommend for web hosting. I personally use four different web hosts at the moment. Having over 150 sites to run means I require a fair amount of space and bandwidth. More importantly though is the safety and security of my sites so I spread them over a number of hosts.

However if I had to recommend one host then it would be Hostgator. I have 2 accounts with them - 1 reseller account and one regular account. I’ve never noticed my sites down, and have never had to contact customer support for anything.

There are a number of other web hosts I also recommend and I’ll mention them in future posts, but if you need a host now and are overwhelmed by all the hosting review sites out there, then choosing Hostgator will not leave you disappointed.

I use Bluehost but I’ve heard good things about Hostgator as well. Whoever you choose, make sure you have lots of MySQL databases, which are needed for each blog you wish to set up.

Nice blog, by the way. If you have a moment, perhaps you could pop over to mine and say Hello! :)

I have also used hostgator and found them
to be very good hosting company. I had no
problems for the twelve months or so that
    I was with them.

I moved my hosting due to business
    requirements and consolidation of
all my domains. I know use lease a
    site.

    Cheers
    Bruce
